Home Minister G Parameshwara on Wednesday said he has directed the police to act swiftly and arrest the burglars who committed theft at the Kuvempu museum in Kuppalli, Shivamogga district.
The police are examining CCTV footage and have gathered some vital clues
. The culprits had covered their faces. The incident has happened between 8.10 pm and 8.29 pm. It was the time when the night shift security guard was to take over the charge.
There was a delay of 19 minutes for the night shift guard to take over the charge and the theft has occurred in that gap of time, he added.
