Bengaluru: Rains continued to lash on Wednesday night and Thursday.

Showers were reported from different parts of Raichur district on Wednesday night. Vehicular traffic was hit at several places as the roads were washed away. Water entered low-lying areas in Raichur.

Bridges were submerged at many places. Crop damage has been reported from Sindhanur and Manvi taluks.
More than 10 houses collapsed in different villages of Hoovinahadagali taluk in Ballari district.

Ready-for-harvest crops were destroyed in the villages.

Moderate to heavy rain lashed some parts of Shivamogga district on Thursday evening.

Shivamogga city received good spell of rain. The rain that started around 5.30 pm lashed the city for half an hour. Bhadravathi and Thirthahalli also received moderate rains in the evening. Parts of Mysuru city and Hassan district received heavy downpour for an hour. Heavy rain lashed Hassan city and parts of the district.
