The fund includes the grant from minor irrigation scheme, the Central government’s Vidarbha package. Rs 80 lakh has been sanctioned for Yagati tank, Rs 37 lakh for Yallambalase tank, Rs 67 lakh for Chaulahiriyuru tank, Rs 87 lakh for Bisilere and Basuru tank, Rs 37 lakh for Balliganuru tank, Rs 60 lakh for Guddehalli and Boranahalli, Rs 85 lakh for Tangali tank , Rs 75 lakj for Madaga tank.
BJP leader S V Umapathi, Mallaghatta Gram Panchayat member Anandappa, Kunkanadu Prabhuraj, Adigere Eshwarappa and contractor Vijaykumar were present.
