Miscreants set ablaze several cars that were parked in front of the owners' houses in different areas of Kalaburagi city, early Sunday morning.
Among the many cars set afire, two cars parked at Sedam Road, Jayanagar; one in Banashankari Colony, one in Vivesvaraya Colony, one in front of United Hospital and one at Lalageri Cross are burnt to a cinder.
Police said that all this is the handiwork of a single gang of miscreants.
Barely one month ago, four bikes and one autorickshaw were set on fire in Roja Layout in Kalaburagi.
Superintendent of Police N Shashikumar visited the spots.
Kalaburagi rural and University police have registered cases and investigations are on.
