 The bandh call given by All India Youth Federation, in support of the Inam land victims in Kalasa was total.

The business establishments including hotels remained shut throughout the day. Even a few schools and colleges had declared holiday.

The members of AIYF took out a bike rally from Javali to Kaimara. The protest by Kalasa hobli residents over Inam land issue has entered  15th day on Monday. 

Addressing the protesters AIYF leader Magalu Harish said that it is a tragedy that none of the elected representatives have visited the Inam land holders who are staging protest for the last 15 days.

Malnadu Bhoo Horata Samithi President Lakshman Kumar said “to safeguard the interest of large farmers, the government is trying to take away the Inam land belonging to the poor. The elected representatives should find a solution to the row over Inam land.

CPI leader Ravi Kumar said that High Court’s order to take back Inam land should be halted by the agitation.
