Children bullied or victimised on cyberspace can now lodge an online complaint with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR).

In view of the growing menace of cybercrimes targeting kids, the rights body has enhanced the scope of its online complaint management and monitoring system under the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act.

The victims of cybercrimes can lodge their complaints at the commission’s POCSO e-box. This is an online complaint management system for easy and direct reporting of sexual offences against children and timely action against the offenders.

Now, considering the growing menace of cybercrimes targeting children, the rights body has enhanced the scope of this complaint box to handle cyberbullying, cyberstalking, morphing of images and child pornography.

The victims or their parents, friends, relatives or guardians can report the crime by pressing the e-box button on the commission’s website www.ncpcr.gov.in or email to pocsoebox-ncpcr@gov.in or call 9868235077.9868235077 in this regard.
