Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday chaired a crucial meeting to take stock of the Pathankot terror strike, which appears to be nearing completion.

The meeting was attended by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval and Foreign Secretary S Jaishankar among others. “Immediately on landing in Delhi, PM @narendramodi is chairing a high level meeting with the NSA, Foreign Secretary and other officials,” says a tweet from the Prime Minister’s Office. Earlier in the day, Modi met Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar at Tumkuru  where Parrikar is understood to have briefed Modi about the Pathankot situation.
