Karthik SU slammed an unbeaten century as Jawahar Sports Club (1) defeated Young Lions Club by 55 runs in the KSCA Group I, Division I, II and III U-14 inter-club tournament here.
Batting first in game reduced to 34 overs a side, Jawahar rode on Karthik’s 106 not out to post a competitive 199/5.
Sidhanth claimed four for 28 for Young Lions.
Rajvir Wadhwa scored a 52 for Young Lions but it wasn’t enough as they were restricted to 144/8 in their quota of overs.
