Bike rider killed in mishap

Manjaiah(23), teacher working at CKS School, resident of Malliganahalli is the deceased. This mishap occurred when he was heading towards to School from his native place.
Hassan Traffic Police have registered a case in this regard, a release said. 

Youth held peddling drug

Police have arrested a person in connection with supply of Ganja and other items to some prisoners of Hassan sub-jail in the city on Tuesday.

Kiran (23), is the accused. Police caught him red-handed when he was moving around suspiciously near the sub -jail.

Confession

During interrogation, the accused revealed that he was supplying Ganja to undertrials Prakash,Prasanna, Kali, Manu and others in the sub-jail.

Police have recovered 33 packets of ganja, a small purse, Rs 100 cash, a sim card, pocket dairy, a small knife and a mobile phone from the accused.
