Brahmin Federation executive meet today
All India Brahmin Federation will organise its national executive and annual general body meeting in Bangalore on January 9.
The day-long meeting to be held at Havyaka Mahasabha, Malleswaram, will be attended by nearly 170 national executive members. Kota Shankara Sharma, President of the Federation, will chair the meeting. Eminent Sanskrit scholar N Ranganath Sharma will be felicitated on the occasion.
Y N Sharma, South Zone Co-oridanator of the Federation said, the meeting will discuss various issues, including the need for fighting reservation for economically weaker Brahmins.
The Federation plans to establish education and career guidance centres in all states, and the meeting will discuss modalities of its functioning, Sharma said.
