Ryots demand arrest of Melkote MLA C S Puttaraju

The KRRS members also staged a rasta roko on Mysore - Bangalore highway, Induwalu - Gejjalagere road and sat on dharna in front of the Deputy Commissioner’s office here on Thursday. They demanded the arrest of the MLA and accused him of spreading a fear in his constituency and the hometown.

They rubbished MLA’s allegations against the Raitha Sangha leader K S Puttanaiah and charged that it was Puttaraju who was plundering natural resources in his constituency.

District president of Raitha Sangha Konasale Narasaraju, leader K S Nanjundegowda, Suresh, S C Marichannegowda and others led the protest. The protesters urged the district administration to file a case against the MLA under the Goonda Act and arrest him.
