Speaking to the reporters here on Thursday, T L Gatty who has authored three works namely ‘Sariti,’ ‘Guddeda Bangar’ and ‘Podu’ informed that the work ‘Sariti’ is a book based on the researches of Tulu Scholar Squadron Leader P S Rai. ‘Guddeda Bangar’ is a book having the collection of Tulu poems written by Gatty, while ‘Podu’ is a family tele drama.
MLA U T Kahder will inaugurate the programme and scholar Prof Amrith Someshwara will preside over the event. Senior Journalist Malar Jayarama Rai, Tuluverenkl Vice-President Vijaya Kumar Kulshekar, Lions Club Chota President Vidyadhar Shetty, All India Radio Senior Announcer Muddu Mudubelle and Karnataka Tulu Sahitya Academy member Bhaskar Rai Kukkuvalli will review all the three works, said Gatty.
The formal programme will be followed by staging of Tulu-Greek drama ‘Sariti’ directed by Murahari Kasargod.
