The ceremony is the second in line of the four rituals that are performed by the seer before ascending the Paryaya throne. ‘Bale Muhurtha,’ ‘Akki Muhurtha,’ ‘Kattige Muhurtha’ and ‘Bhattha Muhurtha’ are the four rituals. Sri Vishwavallabhatheertha Sripada will ascend Paryaya throne on January 18, 2012.

The Seer performed rituals and offered prayers to the ‘Pattada Devaru’ followed by ‘Bhuvaraha Hayagreeva’. Later, the seer offered prayers to ‘Bhootharaja’. After performing poojas to the temples at Sode mutt, he visited ‘Chandramoyuleshwara’ and ‘Anantheshwara’ temples in procession. Following which he visited Sri Krishna temple and offered prayers to Lord Krishna. He was brought in procession to ‘Subhramanya gudi’ and ‘Brindavana’ to offer poojas.

Rituals were performed to ‘Akki Mudi’ that was kept in the golden chariot marking the ceremony of ‘Akki Muhurtha’. ‘Mahamangalastike’ ‘Dhanyalaxmi Pooja,’ ‘Navagraha Pooja’ was preformed on the occasion. Seers of ‘Ashta mutt’ were offered ritualistic ceremonial welcome at Sri Sode Vadiraja mutt. Seers performed ‘Malika Mangalarathi’ to Sri Vishwavallabhatheertha Sripada on the occasion.
