The new routes are:

* Drivers from Siddalingaiah Circle and Hudson Circle and those moving towards VS can use Central Library - K R Circle - Seshadri Road. The drivers can take a U-turn on Seshadri Road to move through the road in M S Building premises, can move on the newly constructed Vikas Soudha entrance gate road and reach VS.

* Those proceeding from VS towards Corporation Circle, can use Palace Road - Maharani Circle - Seshadri Road - K R Circle route.

* Drivers coming from CTO Circle, Police Thimmaiah Circle and moving towards VS can use Basaveshwar Circle, Devaraj Urs Gate (AGS Circle) to reach VS.

* Drivers can directly move from Central Library to HC, but those moving towards VS from Central Library should use K R Circle, take a U-turn at Seshadri Road, move through the road in M S Building premises, move on the newly constructed Vikas Soudha entrance gate road to reach destination.

* Drivers from Queen’s Road can take a right turn at Balekundri Circle, move on Cunningham Road, take a left turn at Chandrika Circle, take a left turn at Basaveshwar Circle and reach VS via AGS Circle.

* Drivers from Anand Rao Circle towards HC can use Seshadri Road and enter Cubbon Park using K R Circle. They can take a left turn at Central Library and reach the HC.

* Drivers from Anand Rao Circle towards VS can take a left turn on Seshadri Road and Maharani Road, move on Palace Road and reach VS through AGS Circle.

* Taking a right turn has been banned for vehicles, coming from GPO Circle, on Dr Ambedkar Circle.

* Vehicles from VS can exit at the newly constructed entrance Gate on Dr Ambedkar Circle, but taking a right turn towards Gopal Gowda Circle has been banned.

* Drivers can use the newly constructed entrance gate Road in front of Vikas Soudha at Gopal Gowda Circle to enter VS.

Car damaged as stone falls at Metro site

A brand new car bore the brunt of negligence of the Metro employees. During a brief traffic jam on the M G Road on Tuesday, the windscreen of the car got damaged when a stone fell from the construction site of the emergency exit of the Metro station. No one was injured in the incident. Some motorcyclists had a narrow escape as they rode their way past the Metro site. The car, which could not move forward because of the narrow space came in the path of the stone as there was no protection over the construction area.
