Private complaint filed against Gowda, sons

Kumar in his complainant against Gowda family has listed several instances of land grabbing in Bangalore, Mysore and Hassan. He stated that Kumaraswamy illegally allocated 80 acres of land to the Vishwa Bharathi House Building Co-operative Society against the High Court and Supreme Court direction following a gift of 16,000 sq feet to his wife Anitha Kumaraswamy.

In the complaint, he said that Kumaraswamy also favoured the Janthakal Mining Company by permitting it to transport mineral wealth worth crores of rupees despite the fact that the company’s lease had expired 20 years ago.

Kumar who filed the complaint along with documents submitted in his complaint that apart from illegal land grabbing in Bangalore, they had obtained 82 acres of land from government which was meant for ‘landless farmers.’

Benefits of 46 sites to the family members, gift of 22 acres of land to former Minister H D Revanna, which was purchased from grantee (schedule caste) are in the list of complaint filed by Kumar. Kumar has made H D Deve Gowda, H D Balakrishna, H Kavitha, wife of Balkrishna, H D Revanna, his wife Bhavani, H D Kumaraswamy, his wife Anitha and others as co-accused in the matter. The court posted the hearing of the complaint to February 14.
