Soulful renditions

Parampara Creative Arts Foundation will be celebrating its 15th anniversary on August 3 at Purandara Bhavan, Indiranagar Sangeetha Sabha auditorium. 

On August 3, at 5.15 pm, Parampara’s audio CD Ekamanekam by vidwan N Vijay Siva will be released. 

From 6.15 pm to 8.45 pm, there will be a vocal recital  by N Vijay Siva. RK Shriramkumar will be on violin, N Manoj Siva on mridangam and S Karthick on ghatam.  The Parampara Centre for Carnatic Music was started by Savitha Kartik 15 years ago. Savitha learnt music from late Kuppuswamy, late DK Jayaraman and late V Subramanian. 
The students and parents of Parampara have also created an innovative scrapbook — a treasure house of articles, pictures, photographs and memoirs about learning music and being a member of this institution. For details, call 25397694.
