Man arrested, admits to four murders in the last one year

"Yasin Khan murdered four persons in the last one year and he was also engaged in four incidents of robbery," said Deputy Commissioner of Police, Himnashu Shukla.
Yasin Khan alias Sando alias Lambu Khan (30) was arrested during a vehicle-checking yesterday, police said.

Khan was driving an auto-rickshaw when he was stopped by a constable during routine checking here. He was found to have a driving licence in the name of one Jaswant Singh.
According to police, Khan admitted to have hired the rickshaw and killed the driver subsequently.

The decomposed body of the driver had been recovered and identified by his family members, police claimed.

Khan also confessed to have killed a beggar identified as Saladia here about five months ago; and about fifteen days back, he had strangulated a man with a muffler at the same spot and fled away with Rs 300 found on him, police said.

Further, he admitted that around a year ago, he had strangled one girl, Reshma, with whom he was having an affair, after suspecting her of having relations with another man, police said.
