Bestowing power and responsibility

The chief guest was Major General Pranab Chakraborthy, ADGAE and Col Comdt Army Education Corps.

He honoured the cadets with pips. The  Principal, Lt Col Tamojeet Biswas, also joined the chief guest on the dais for pipping the appointments.

These pips make them feel privileged as this investiture ceremony vests them with power and a great responsibility.

In his address, the chief guest stressed that one should have firm determination, let no obstacles deter one from the path to glory and success.  In the evening, a cultural programme was staged by school cadets in the form of songs, skit and group dance.

This was followed by a glimpse of the rich Indian culture through a kuchipudi dance presented by the disciples of Vyjayanthi Kashi. The danseuse educated the cadets about various aspects of our culture like the Natyashastra, the Nava Rasas, Sage Bharatha, Tarangam etc. Vyjayanthi Kashi and her students mesmerised the audience with their performance.
