After devastating detective works in the 2003 hit action comedy Johnny English, Rowan Atkinson is back in action with a new mission.

The unlikely intelligence officer in this edition is pitched against assassins who are planning to kill the Chinese premier. This mission is of paramount importance for Johnny (Atkinson) to mend his dented image as a spy and also for Britain’s relationship with China.

Famous for his unique facial expressions and walking style, Johnny carries his trademark traits throughout the film which will tickle your funny bone. 

The creative ideas that Johnny comes up in the movie prove lucky for him, even as disasters strike on several occasions. Despite this, his antics grab the audience’s attention keeping the film afloat.

When Johnny is looked upon as a traitor, Rosamund Pike stands by him. Gillian Anderson and Dominic West do share less screen space compared to that of Atkinson.
Overall, Johnny English Reborn is a good action comedy if you want to have a good laugh. And for fans of Atkinson, it’ll be a treat.
