Based on suggestions from passengers, the BMTC bosses have decided to approach the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) with the proposal.

If the BMRCL responds positively, the BMTC will place the boards giving information about the feeder service at all entry and exit points of the Metro stations soon. The feeder service has transported around 30,000 passengers since October 20, the day Namma Metro was launched in the City.

This is a negligible figure for the Corporation, which handles about four million passengers a day. This clearly shows that the mutual feeding between the BMRCL and the BMTC is yet to happen.

The BMTC has already begun seeking suggestions from the passengers about the feeder service. According to the Chief Traffic Manager (Operations), M P Prabhudas, a meeting will be convened on Saturday to assess the feedbacks the Corporation has already received.
Suggestions on the feeder service can be sent to ctmobmtc@gmail.com or call Prabhudas. on phone: 2295 2534
