Six arrested for murder
Bangalore, December 13, DHNS;
The Jeevan Bima Nagar police arrested six persons on Monday in connection with the recent murder of a local BJP worker.
The suspects were identified as Jagadish, 36, a resident of Thippasandra; M Babuprakash alias Sixer Babu, 31, Byrasandra; Chandrashekhar, 37, New Thippasandra; Ananth, 23, Yeshwantpur; Mithunkumar, 24, Pandavapura; and Andani Gowda, 23, Mandya.
The suspects allegedly hacked M Murthy, 43, president of the Mahadevapura unit of BJP SC/ST Yuva Morcha, in front of his house in New Thippasandra on December 1.
