Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda on Sunday sought Opposition parties' co-operation in the smooth conduct of the Legislature session scheduled to commence on Monday.

Speaking to reporters after inaugurating Chitra Santhe at Chitra Kala Parishat, he said the ruling party is prepared to give satisfactory answers to all questions on the administrative matters during the session. "I hope Opposition parties will extend their co-operation to make the session fruitful," he stated.

Information about all issues raised and discussed in the last session has been given to the deputy commissioners of respective districts and they have been directed to take appropriate steps.

Opposition parties should not oppose the government only for the sake of it. Efforts should be made to find solutions to problems being faced by people, he added.
