NR Police arrest burglar duo

Recover 270 grams of gold ornaments worth Rs 9 lakh

Two house burglars have been arrested by cops of N R Police station and jewellery worth Rs 9 lakh has been recovered.

Tabrez (28) of Malavalli of Mandya, Suresh (30) of Nallur of Ponnampet, Kodagu have been arrested.

The police took the duo who were roaming near N R Circle into custody and when inquired their robberies came into light.

They revealed that they have burgled at a house in second stage of Kesare, one at Karakushalanagar and two houses at Tilaknagar during night time.

Around 270 grams of gold, 750 grams of silver ornaments have been recovered from the accused.
