A supplier at a hotel was found murdered in the front porch of his house early Thursday morning.

The Ulsoor police have identified the dead as Sahil alias Sudarshan (23), a resident of Jogupalya in Indirangar.

He worked as a supplier at Grill House Hotel on 80-ft Road in Indiranagar. A native of Nepal, Sahil was working in the City for the past six years. He was staying at the hotel quarters.

The police said he returned home in an inebriated condition late Wednesday night.

Instead of entering the house, he sat in front of the house. One of his friends asked him to come inside and went to bed. The friend was shocked to see Sahil lying in a pool of blood outside the house in the wee hours of Thursday.

He was soon rushed to the hospital, where he was declared brought dead, the police said. Sahil’s head was smashed with a stone , the police added.

The police suspect that Sahil might have been killed in a brawl. However, the role of his friends in the murder cannot be ruled out, they said.
