Tejas scalps ten to power Bangalore Occassional

Tejas S finished with ten wickets for the match and propelled Bangalore Occassional to a facile ten-wicket win over Mount Joy Cricket Club in the Dell-KSCA Group I, Division I league for the Sir Mirza Ismail Shield here.

Batting first, Bangalore Occassional were bundled out for a mere 284 in 78 overs as MJCC’s IG Anil ran through their batting line up with figures of seven for 85. In their first stint with the bat, MJCC’s hopes of putting on a good score were quashed after Tejas scalped six wickets to pack them off to 97 all out. Following on, MJCC fared better the second time around but their effort was still not good enough, their innings folding up at 187 in 66.3 overs. Tejas and Yere Goud bagged four wickets apiece, leaving Bangalore Occassional with one run to win and claim five points.
