Aiming to boost its manufacturing sector, India’s said three more mega industrial zones would be notified by August end.
“We are seriously considering three National manufacturing & Investment Zones (NMIZ) of which one will be in Andhra Pradesh, and two in Karnataka. By August end it will be able to get approved” Union Commerce & Industry Ministry Anand Sharma, who is on a three-day visit to the island nation, told reporters.
With this the total number of NMIZ will reach 12, Sharma said.
