Vinit, Sachin hit centuries

Vinit Yadav and Sachin hammered hundreds as Spartons Sports Club trounced Ranji Cricket Club by 124 runs in the Dell-KSCA Group I, Division IV tournament for the Metro Shield.

Yadav (159 n.o.) and Sachin (133 n.o.), carried Spartons to 307 for no loss in 50 overs. Yadav then returned to the field to scalp four wickets to bundle out Ranji CC for 183 in 45.1 overs. BR Mohan also bagged four wickets for Spartons SC.

Adhokash sparkles

Adhokash Hegde scalped six wickets in the match to help Vidyashilp Academy post a facile ten-wicket victory over Jain Heritage School in the Dell-KSCA under-16 tournament for Group I teams.

In the low-scoring encounter, Jain were bundled out for 68. Vidyashilp, in their first stint with the bat, declared with the score on 206 for nine.
