Daivik stars for AI

Daivik Viswanath took a five-for as Air India Sports Club scored a facile 43-run win over Triton Sports Club, Mysore in the KSCA Group II, Division II league match.

Batting first, Air India rode on Divakar’s 52 to muster 169/7 in their allotted 30 overs. Shivam Mishra also chipped in with 31.

Daivik then sparkled with the ball, picking up five for 27 as Triton SC folded up for a measly 126 in 22.5 overs.

ITC Sports Club scored a facile six-wicket win over ADE Sports Club in another tie. Giridhar V Koppikar (3-14) and Ashok S (45) shone for the winners.

ADE Sports Club: 103 all out in 28.5 overs (Giridhar V Koppikar 3-14) lt to ITC Sports Club: 104/4 in 17.2 overs (Ashok S 45).

Hutti Gold Mines CC: 144/8 in 25 overs (Mehboob Pasha 30; Varun Prakash 3-33) lt to CIL Sports Club: 145/3 in 24.1 overs (Dayananda 44, Manjunath 30).

Advocate Association CC: 191/4 in 25 overs (Afzal Khan 75 n.o.; Shivashankar 47 n.o.) bt Karnataka State Police CC: 102 all out in 20.5 overs (Gopal 28; Balagur 2-14, Satish 3-29, Yashwanath 2-26).

Secretariat Cricket Club: 165/3 in 18 overs (Suhas 37, Arjun Gowda 52, Khushalappa 32, Pawan 30 n.o.; Vinay 2-38) bt MPM Cricket Club, Bhadravati: 125 all out in 18 overs (Hidayath 39; Chandrau 2-27, Anand 3-18).

ABB Cricket Club: 140/9 in 30 overs (Pawan 41 n.o.; Sahil Saleem 2-19, J Nagaraj 3-11) lt to BEML Recreation Club: 145/1 in 17.2 overs (Bharath 44, Madhu Kumar 62 n.o.).
