Fire kills one
New Delhi, Nov 10, 2012 DHNS:
A man was killed and six others were injured in a fire at a garment factory in Hauz Khas on Friday. It took firemen 30 minutes to douse the flames, which were reported around 2.30 pm at the factory at Shahpur Jat.
“Three fire tenders were pressed into service, and the situation was brought under control by 3 pm. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained,” a fire official said.
The injured person are being treated for burn injuries at Safdarjung Hospital.
