All-round Varun spurs CIL

Varun Prakash followed up his half-century (50) with a three-wicket haul (3/34) to power CIL Sports Club to a narrow 29-run win over KSRTC Sports Club in the KSCA Group II, Division II league here.

After posting 142/8 in 26 overs riding on Varun’s fifty, CIL bowled out KSRTC SC for a modest 113 all out in 24.1 overs.

Besides, Varun, Dayand (2/25) and Krishna (3/2) too got amongst wickets for CILSC.
