Udupa's heroics spur ITC
Kaushik Udupa contributed with both bat and ball as ITC Sports Club defeated BHEL (Edn) Sports Club by eight wickets in the KSCA Group II, Division II league match here.
Batting first, BHEL were skittled out for 168 in 28.3 overs with Giridhar V Koppikar scalping three wickets for ITC. Sendhil Kumar (2/17) and Udupa (2/10) picked up two wickets each. Jagadish top scored for BHEL with 43.
Chasing 169 for victory, half-centuries from Udupa (61) and Rakshitha Shiva Kumar (51 n.o.) propelled ITC to a comfortable win in the 29th over.
