Big win for YMCA (2)

Nara­yan’s unbeaten hundred and Harish’s six-wicket haul powered YMCA Cricket Club (2) to a thumping 201-run victory over Blue Diamond Cricketers in the KSCA Group I, Division V tournament for the J B Mallaradhya Trophy here on Saturday.

Batting first, YMCA posted a massive 301/5 in 50 overs spurred by Narayan’s 120 not out and useful contributions from Mehul (46) and Mohan (43). Naveen was the only bowler to make an impact for Blue Diamond claiming 2-46.

Chasing a daunting 302, Blue Diamond were sent packing for 100 as Harish ripped through their batting order scalping 6/39 to seal the win in the 20th over.
