Balaji moves past Vignesh to enter last-eight phase; Sanam, Jeevan win through
Top seed Sriram Balaji defeated P Vignesh to move in to the quarterfinals of the Davangere ITF tennis tournament here on Wednesday. After a sedate start, Balaji slowly wrested control and powered to a 6-4, 6-1 win, setting up a last-eight clash with Dutchman Jeroen Benard.
]Second seed Sanam Singh also progressed, sailing past Chandril Sood 6-4, 6-1 to make the last eight.
