Yeddyurappa distances from RSS

 Former chief minister and KJP chief B S Yeddyurappa has said that he is a different person after taking charge of the KJP.

“I have distanced myself from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak (RSS) ideology. I will follow only KJP’s ideology,” he told mediapersons here on Wednesday.

He said: “A committee has been constituted under the chairmanship of K H Srinivas, to prepare a report on plans for the development of the State. The committee comprises U R Ananthamurthy, Justice Venkatesh, Chandrashekar Patil, Nallur Prasad, G N Hegde and Mumtaz Ali Khan. Their suggestions will be taken before preparing the KJP’s election manifesto.”

“I had been to Rajarajeshwari temple at Thaliparambu near Kannur on Wednesday, to seek the blessings of the Goddess for my new venture,” he said.
He said that he would start touring the State from Basava Kalyana, after a week.
