Celebrating gardening
MESMERISING
The three-day event of International Landscape and Gardening which got over recently, was organised by Indian Nurserymen Association (INA) in order to celebrate their silver jubilee at IARI Exhibition Ground. Much to the delight of the nature loving Delhiites, this show displayed some very unique species of plants from all over the world.
The event witnessed participation of as many as 150 nursery men from all over the country who exhibited different varieties of plants. Along with the show of diverse varieties of plants and flowers, visitors were also educated about simple, innovative techniques and the best available tools for gardening.
Delegates from countries like Korea, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand marked their presence at the event and exchanged notes on horticulture and gardening.
The highlights of Nursery and Landscape Expo included demonstrations, seminars, workshops, display of unique designs of amusement parks and playgrounds, fountain and leisure industry.
Eminent agriculture scientists and horticulture experts also addressed the audience on a wide variety of fruits, vegetables, tuber crops, floriculture, ornamental plants, medicinal and aromatic plants, spices, food processing and bee-keeping. Visitors came across varieties of opportunities to learn about the new products, new trends in the business during the event.
