City students' short film wins prizes

‘The Missed Class’, a short film by the students of Shri Dharmasthala Manjunatheswara Institute for Management Development (SDM-IMD) has won several prizes.

The film, based on the principles of Mahatma Gandhiji, recaptures and relieves the spirit of the great personality, has been made by Omkar Rajyaguru, Varun Kumar, Himanshu Singh Gurjar and Ashwin S Prasad.

It has won the first prize in the National Social Harmony Film Contest at Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB), second in short film making competition Mareechika – Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad (MICA), best movie in Dual Thought’s state level short film competition, SJCE in Mysore, and second in short film (B-School category) in IMT Nagpur, said a release.
