Sahney wins Accumulator

ECE lad produces a clear round

Bangalore: Anantya Sahney of Equestrian Centre for Excellence (ECE), astride Dubicasil, clinched the Junior Accumulator title in the Junior National Equestrian Championship (JNEC) at the Agram grounds on Wednesday.

Sahney came up with a clear round to finish first ahead of Cdt c, piloting Andy Flower, who finished second with a penalty of 4 points while Cdt Sheoran of NDA, riding Michael, was third with a 8-point fault. |

The 15-year-old Shambhavi Ajila of ECE, astride Magic Man, came seventh in the same event in her maiden Junior Nationals. The Mallya Aditi International School student was in the lead midway through the event but lost the initiative after Magic Man refused to clear the last hurdle Joker (eighth fence).
