Applications invited for Rajiv Gandhi Seva award

February 15 is the last date to apply

 Applications have been invited for Rajiv Gandhi Seva Award given by Government of India meant for the services in the field of children’s progress, children’s protection, and children’s development, according to a press release.

The individuals or organisations should have rendered their service to the respective fields for more than 10 years. The awards are to be announced on Rajiv Gandhi Jayanthi which is on August 30. The individual award includes a prize amount of Rs. 1 lakh and a certificate. Salaried employs in organisations are not eligible for the award.

The Jury appointed by the State Government will finalise the decisions regarding selection after examining the applications and recommend the names of selected individuals/organisations to the Central Government for the award.
