Agriculture Marketing Minister S K Bellubbi on Thursday met senior BJP leaders here and tried to lobby on behalf of jailed former minister G Janardhana Reddy.
Bellubbi, who met newly-elected BJP president Rajnath Singh, and Opposition leader in Lok Sabha Sushma Swaraj, reportedly requested them to reinduct mining baron, Reddy into the party.
However, sources in the party told Deccan Herald that the central leaders did not make any promise to him.
