Bharath stars in Vagdevi's victory
A fine all-round show by Bharath set-up Vagdevi Vilas School’s comprehenive 217-run win over Primus Public School in the Dell under-14 (Div III) knockout tournament for the BTR Shield here.
Bharath slammed 119 to shore up his team’s total to 337 all out in 45.1 overs. He then returned to bag a 5/20 haul as Vagdevi bowled out Primus for 110 in 22 overs.
In another match, Sourav Nambiar’s all-round performance helped Royal Concorde International School romp to a 10-wicket victory over Mount Senoria School.
After bowling out Mount Senoria for 127 in 23 overs, Royal Concorde chased it down in just 20 overs without losing any wickets.
