Committee extends time

Justice B Padmaraj Inquiry Committee, which is probing site allotments made under the chief minister’s discretionary quota, has decided to extend time to enable the respondents to file their affidavits till 5 pm of March 15, 2013.

This arrangement has been made in view of the fact that out of 313 respondents only, 175 respondents have filed their affidavits and having regard to the fact that the inquiry is time bound as per the order of High Court of Karnataka and the State government.

Respondents in the writ petitions can file their affidavits on or before 5 pm on March 15, 2013 in the office of the inquiry committee at Room no 36, ground floor, Vikasa Soudha, Bangalore- 560 001, failing which the committee will proceed according to the law.
