Big B likes 'Zanjeer' remake trailer

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan finds trailer of "Zanjeer" remake "smashing" and gives his best wishes to the cast and crew.

A remake of 1973 super hit action thriller, which was Big B's first blockbuster, the new "Zanjeer" is directed by Apoorva Lakhia and features Ramcharan Teja, Priyanka Chopra and Sanjay Dutt in the lead roles.

"Apoorva Lakhia showed me the trailer of 'Zanjeer' remake... smashing stuff ... all good wishes to the team cast and crew," Amitabh posted on Twitter.

There is a Telugu version of the movie titled "Toofan".

Shabana's special request to SRK

Actress-activist Shabana Azmi has requested superstar Shah Rukh Khan to work in women-centric movies.

The request has come after Shah Rukh's pledge to have his leading ladies' name appear before his in the credits.

"SRK glad you are giving heroines credit above your title. Please also do a few heroine oriented films in which you play secondary role to make it more viable," Shabana posted on Twitter.

Shah Rukh will soon be seen in director Rohit Shetty's upcoming movie "Chennai Express" with Deepika Padukone.

Maiden ad excites Sidharth

Newcomer Sidharth Malhotra, who made his debut with "Student Of The Year", is excited about his first ever commercial, which is for an ice cream brand.

"Just found out my 1st commercial. Will be out soon... It's an ice cream brand that we have all grown up on, and still my favourite desert," the actor posted on Twitter.
On the acting front, the actor will be seen in a darker role in Balaji Motion Pictures' next project "The Villian".
