CME on clinical anatomy held

Kasturba Medical College Dean Dr M Venkatraya Prabhu said that collaborative study can be done with the clinical department to bring up the research activities. He was delivering his inaugural address at a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme with the theme “Clinical anatomy of endocrine glands” held at Yenepoya University, organised by the Department of Anatomy, Yenepoya Medical College recently.

Dr P Chandrmohan, Vice Chancellor Yenepoya University, presided over the function and delivered a talk on history of anatomy and importance of clinical anatomy.

Dr Shakuntala Pai, Professor and HoD, Dept of Anatomy , Srinivasa Medical College, Mangalore , delivered a lecture on “Gross and applied Anatomy of endocrine glands in Human body”

Prizes for the winners of dissection competition held for the first year MBBS and BDS students were distributed.
