Software provides mock tests for CET, COMED-K test

Last Updated 24 April 2013, 21:04 IST

Students preparing for CET and COMED-K exams, with the help of Innovedge software, can customise their own mock tests from particular chapters or subjects of their choice.

“If a student is weak in maths he/she can test his/her capability and customise their test by setting questions from the subject on a question template the software offers. There will be 60 questions for 60 minutes and the pattern will be based on the blueprint of the main exams,” said Gunasheela Somashekhar from Critical Edge.  Students can also set questions based on various other categories like level of difficulty or questions like descriptive or objective.

Developed by Critical Edge, a Bangalore-based company, Innovedge has a database of 7,000 questions. Also, there are 25 to 30 chapters each on physics, chemistry, maths and biology to help explain concepts in brief.  Another feature shows the performance graph and progress of a student on the basis of mock exams the students take. “Since the results come out immediately, one can judge one’s performance instantly.” Regular updates are automatically sent to the student with the software, when connected to the Internet.
