NCTE brings out new regulations

All the institutions or societies that are willing to start teacher education courses or seeking enhancement of seats in the existing teacher education courses could go through the new regulations and norms and standards, which are available on the NCTE website www.ncteindia.org

As per the para 8 (13) of the above regulation, all the existing teacher education institutions have to comply  with the requirement laid down in the revised Norms and Standards and also increase the built up area within one year as stipulated in Appendices 1 to 13 of the above Regulations from the date of effect of revised norms ie on or before August 31, 2010.

Further, all the institutions permitted for additional intake in BEd and BPEd after promulgation of Regulations shall have to get itself accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council on or before April 1, 2010 failing which additional intake shall stand withdrawn with effect from academic session 2010-2011.
