Shreyas leads SUCC from front

Swastic Union clinch three points

Swastic Union Cricket Club (1) rode on centuries from R Samarth, Shreyas Gopal and Karan Rao to claim three points after their drawn encounter against Bangalore Occasionals in the KSCA Group I, Division I tournament for the Sir Mirza Ismail Shield.

Batting first, Swastic posted a daunting 435 for four in 90 overs with Shreyas leading from the front with an unbeaten 159, while Samarth (102) and Karan (100) contributed tons of their own. In reponse, Bangalore Occasionals were bundled out for a mere 207 in 64.5 overs and Shreyas had a big part to play as he finished with a five-wicket haul (5-56).
