Laptop stolen

Tarakesh, who was shopping in the Majestic area, lost his laptop and other valuables to a conman who diverted his attention in Gandhinagar on Monday evening.

Tarakesh was about to enter his car parked near the Gubbi Veeranna Ranga Mandira, when an unidentified person claimed that Tarakesh had dropped a Rs 10 note.

When Tarakesh, who kept the car door open, bent to pick up the note, the man reached into his car and made away with the laptop and a bag containing other valuables.
A case has been registered at the Upparpet police station.
