India's Eetee Maheta breezed past wildcard Vaniya Dangwal 6-3, 6-2 in the only other singles main draw match of the day.
In the six qualifying singles finals, Sri Vaishnavi Peddi Reddy entered the main draw with a dominant 6-0, 6-2 victory over Disha Satish Agarwal.
Malaysia's Theiviya Selvarajoo scored an upset 6-1, 6-3 victory over third-seeded Manya Nagpal to take a place in the main draw.
Amrita Mukherjee had little going her way this day. She lost 1-6, 0-6 to Riya Bhatia.
In the 14 first round main draw singles matches scheduled on Tuesday, top-seeded Ankita Raina will meet Australian Julia Moriarty while third-seeded Keren will play Bhuvana Kalra of India. Seventh-seeded Prerna Bhambri will have a tough opening round opponent in Natasha Palha while qualifer Shivika will be up against seasoned Rushmi Chakravarthi.
