Janata Dal-United president Sharad Yadav lost the Lok Sabha election from the Madhepura constituency in Bihar Friday.
Yadav was defeated by Rashtriya Janata Dal candidate Pappu Yadav.
His defeat is a major setback to his ruling party in the state.
