Bangalore City XI emerge SAS champions

Bangalore City XI emerged champions in the S A Srinivasan Memorial Trophy under-25 tournament after logging 13 points at the conclusion of their final league match against President’s XI here.

Roham Kadam struck a patient 102 (166b, 9x4, 1x6) as Bangalore City reached 301/6 in 76 overs to overhaul President’s 298/6 in 90 overs. President’s had ridden on Abhishek Reddy’s 151 (241b, 17x4, 2x6). 

The three points that Bangalore collected by virtue of their first innings lead helped them pip President’s, who finished with 12 points after bagging one point from their last encounter, to title.
